Having been absent from UK stages for two decades, Marshall’s triumphant return marks a huge moment for fans. She is set to reconnect with her UK audience with a powerful live set, featuring a mix of her signature hits, such as Dark Horse, I Believe, Let It Rain, and more, alongside new material from her critically acclaimed 2023 album ‘Heavy Lifting’.
Speaking on her return to the UK, Marshall said:
“Fun fact: I was almost born in London! Ok, not really, but my mother lived there for years during the Swingin’ Sixties, and I still have family there. From the Stones to M&S, I grew up feeling very connected to all things English. London was home to my first international showcase ever (the jet lag nearly killed me as a newbie), and I cannot wait to return this summer. It’s been too long! See you in July. We can’t wait.”

From the outset of her career, Amanda Marshall was recognised as one of Canada’s most compelling vocal talents, with early mentorship and support from Canadian guitar legend Jeff Healey, who played a pivotal role in her journey. Growing up in Toronto, a diverse and multicultural city, music was always a part of Amanda Marshall’s life. She was exposed to a wide range of genres, from Barbra Streisand to the Rolling Stones, Motown to AC/DC. Music became the foundation of everything important to her. At the age of six, she walked into a recording studio for the first time and instantly felt at home. As a singer, she followed the familiar path – singing before she could walk and never wanting to do anything else.
After a twenty-two-year hiatus, Marshall released her first full-length studio album in years, ‘Heavy Lifting’. The album explores a wide range of themes, from heartbreak and social commentary to empowerment and resilience.
