Revival is truly an event for everyone whether they’re a die-hard motorsport fan, a keen collector of vintage fashion or just someone who loves a memorable great day out. There’s always something new to discover as the motor circuit takes visitors back to its golden era of 1948-1966.
A century of Maserati Racing Heritage – this great Italian marque will sit at the heart of this year’s Revival as its celebrated marque. Around the motor circuit’s paddocks visitors will find an extraordinary gathering of Maseratis including the chance to get up close to cars that helped shaped Grand Prix and sportscar racing through the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s as well as seeing and hearing them come to life on the track.
Remembering the legend of Sir Jack Brabham- this September, Revival will honour the life and legacy of Sir Jack Brabham, an extraordinary motorsport figure who remains the only person to win the F1 World Championship in a car bearing his own name. At Revival, visitors can get close to the cars and people who shaped the journey of this three-time World Champion.
World champions go head-to-head – Two F1 World Champions will line up on the grid at Revival. Jenson Button and Jacques Villeneuve will go wheel-to-wheel in the prestigious RAC TT Celebration. Both drivers will drive iconic Jaguar E-types in this historic showdown.
A swarm of Vespas will descend on Goodwood – opening each day’s track competition will be a swarm of classic Vespas who will make up the Track Opening Parade to celebrate the famous Italian marque’s 80th anniversary. A sea of some 300 pre-1967 scooters will get Revival off to a colourful start as Vespas are joined by their contemporaries, Lambretta and Italjat.
A taste of Italy at the turning circle – the entrance to Revival – Gate 2’s turning circle – will be transformed into an Instagram-worthy scene encapsulating La Dolce Vita. Prepare to embrace the sweeter things in life as theatrical celebrations will set the scene, both there, and around the whole Revival site.
Embracing Revive & Thrive – this ethos is at the heart of what the Goodwood Revival stands for. It’s all about creativity and breathing new life into cherished items and is supported by a passionate community that grows, year on year. Stars such as Dita Von Teese have been a big presence at the Revival Style Village, a glorious hub of shopping, crafting and engaging talks from names such as Sonnet Stanfill Senior Curator of the V & A’s Schiaparelli exhibition, fashion historian Henry Wilkinson talking about the relationship between Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn and Dandy Wellington meets legendary designer, Dame Zandra Rhodes.
Sunday Closing Party
All ticket holders are invited to raise a glass and keep the celebrations in full swing as the sun sets on another fabulous Goodwood Revival on Sunday 20 September. The Sunday Closing Party is your chance to head to the grid, rub shoulders with legendary drivers and riders, soak up the excitement of prize-giving, dance along to fantastic live music and be part of a few very special surprises which we’re keeping under our hats for now.
