Lucy & Yak’s Big PreLoved Sale returns to Brighton and beyond

Lucy & Yak Big PreLoved Sale returns to Brighton in September
Lucy & Yak Big PreLoved Sale returns to Brighton in September

24–27 September 2026 | Lucy & Yak stores nationwide

As London Fashion Week turns its attention to what’s next, Lucy & Yak is making a case for looking at what’s already in our wardrobes.

The colourful, socially and environmentally conscious clothing brand is bringing back The Big PreLoved Sale from 24–27 September, transforming its stores across the UK into PreLoved hubs packed with previously loved Lucy & Yak pieces.

And there’s a particularly good reason to take a second look this time around. The sale coincides with a major milestone for the brand’s circular fashion initiative, Re, which has now seen more than 50,000 pieces of Lucy & Yak clothing rehomed.

Following the success of its first PreLoved Weekender in May, the September event will see a much larger proportion of each store dedicated to second-hand stock. That means plenty of opportunities to find something a little different, from much-loved classics to one-off pieces that have been repaired, upcycled or customised by the Re Studio team in Yorkshire.

For Lucy & Yak, it’s part of a wider philosophy that fashion doesn’t have to mean constantly chasing whatever happens to be new. Its Be More You ethos puts individuality, longevity and personal style at the heart of what it does, while Re is designed to keep clothes in circulation for as long as possible.

What to expect

Throughout the four-day sale, Lucy & Yak stores will be filled with expanded PreLoved sections, with pieces available at special prices. There will also be some particularly unique finds, including one-of-a-kind garments given a new lease of life by the brand’s Yorkshire-based Re Studio team.

There’s a little treasure hunt thrown in too. Every day of the sale, each store will have a Golden Ticket hidden somewhere inside. Whoever finds one can take it to the till and exchange it for their favourite item.

Students can also receive an additional 20% off their PreLoved purchases during the event by showing a valid UNiDAYS or Student Beans membership.

The sale will be running at Lucy & Yak stores in Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Canterbury, Chester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, London, Manchester, Norwich, Nottingham, Sheffield, Portsmouth and Yorkshire.

Giving old favourites another life

The Big PreLoved Sale is part of Lucy & Yak’s broader approach to circular fashion. Through Re, customers can return eligible Lucy & Yak pieces in any condition and receive a voucher of up to £25 towards a future purchase.

Returned clothing is then assessed and either resold through the brand’s PreLoved offering, repaired or creatively upcycled at the Re Studio in Yorkshire. Pieces that can no longer be worn are sent for textile recycling.

The brand also runs Re workshops throughout the year, giving its community the opportunity to learn how to repair and customise their clothes, alongside its (Im)Perfect initiative, which provides a space for customers to buy, sell and swap pieces.

The result is fashion with a little more history attached to it. And with 50,000 Yaks already finding new homes through Re, it seems the second life is becoming just as important as the first.

The Big PreLoved Sale runs from 24–27 September 2026 at Lucy & Yak stores nationwide.
